If you are stuck on Updating Setup Files (around the 60% mark) then you need to change your IE settings, turn off dial a connection and take off 'automaticaly acquire settings' under the lan settings tab.

What characters are you playing? I am playing a Barbarian cause it's the only class from D2.

The other person's files I downloaded got me past it.

Now, is it supposed to be stuck on 1% installed? :p

Lol! My Mac ran the intall super fast, the windows in stall look liked it stalled on 1% for a full 10 minutes before slowly marching onwards.

However when the windows instal got to updating it kept crashing, so I just said "fuck it" rebooted in Mac OS and played there. :p
 
Yeah, I found a fix for it. I had to set the priority to High in Task Manager.

But geeze. Talk about a mission. Blizzard really dropped the ball on this one's install.
 
From someone who has played Diablo III for a while now.... it's everything I wished for!

Man it sucks that I have to go back to work tomorrow. Should have taken the whole week off.
 
Getting an average of 400ms latency on mine. This sucks, because that 400ms can definitely be felt in-game.

Yeah :( I eventually got onto the Asian servers not knowing your char is by region, so I had to re roll a new char on the EU servers. DOH!

Just had my Witch Doctor mouse pad delivered! woot.

Ah man that sucks that you had to re-roll.

What do you think of the mouse pad? If it's worthwhile then I'll get the monk one. Should have bought it at Zaps on Monday but completely forgot.

Its all good, I had some time today and re-rolled and got back to where I was. Was only level 9 lol.

The mouse pad is lekker. Its thinner and smaller than my cyber sniper one which is actually nice, it sticks to the table well and mouse glides nicely. The graphic is also very cool. So for R157 it was well worth it.

I think that is their IP.. but it goes to the USA? WTF?

My latency in game is around 380ms.. and then jumps to like 1600ms..

Also, why don't I get 200ms as per my trace route?

Mine only occasionally spikes to 600, otherwise it's a constant 400.

Edit: Also, I'm a bit stuck on which class to play. I played the Monk till level 10, but I'm just not feeling him. Going to try out the wizard next.

Played the monk on the BWE, was pretty cool, a little bit like the assassin but more Kung-Fu orientated. I will end up taking all the classes to lvl 60 and into inferno. It's the right thing to do.
