You can install it anywhere you want, but you can only log in in one location at a time.

Like I said pages back, this thread is pumping! Love how many SA guys are playing D3, my friends list is absolutely crazy and constantly busy. LOVING IT!
I was out for dinner last night and I overheard a waiter mention "Diablo 3".. Even my GF (non-gamer) was like :O .. madness! Everyone is doing it yo!
Meh at server issues guys, really. This game has been 10 years in the making and will keep us busy for the next 10 years. Whats 1 or 2 more days (I know, I know).
Anyways, regarding legendary gear, its a tad silly to spend cash on a legendary item that will be replaced by a blue item soon enough. My advice would be to not spend 1 gold on gear (except maybe x2 2-4 dmg rings early on from the fence). Your main gold sink in the game for now should be the Blacksmith. Remember, the BS carries across characters with your gold too, so its important to get done as you level up (imho).
I craft the occasional item now and then while upgrading, but mostly, I salvage ALL my blues / yellows that I pickup unless a friend of mine wants the item, in which case I trade the item for 1 essence to them. It’s a fair deal as they are replacing the item they have equipped in any case. ProTip: You can link gear in chat the same way you do in WoW. Open the chatbox, and shift-left-click an item to create a link that people can click on to view the item’s tooltip. (hope that made sense).
Another thing I have noticed is how ULTRA F*CKING SQUISHY the wizard is.. I played the beta and wouldn’t consider myself a kak gamer, but there are times where I really struggle and get stomped (hello waller pack.. thanks for making smash my “Q†key). I have died ONCE only though (Skeleton King actually 1-shotted me. No really, 1 shot). For me, as a ranged toon, the difficulty is perfect. Nice and challenging. But I can’t help but keep saying to myself “nightmare/hell/inferno is going to be DAMN difficultâ€. I have friends playing Monk / Barb that say its quite easy though. That 30% damage reduction on melee seems to make a difference.
Regarding multiple copies of the game, its as easy as copy-pasting your game directory. The only thing that changes is that you'll have to re-enter your B.NET Authenticator code every time (due to changing of IP's - it has a "remember auth'd IP mechanism"), if you have an authenticator.
Another tip for those that are spoiler conscience: There is an option to switch off Friend Achievement Notifications. Do it.
@ Sin7, I am sure it will, at lowest graphics and from a few pages back, guys are playing just fine on 3G.

You can start HC once a char reaches level 10, im gna finish act 1 then start a HC char. But gna do this play WD till act 1, make hc WD finish act 1, finish act 2 normal, finish act 2 hc. Etc Etc

Good luck with making a Hardcore character, I already died a few times in Acts 3 and 4, and that's on normal. Wouldn't even want to imagine the fear and paranoia you would suffer playing HC on Nightmare and beyond.
If you still think you have the stones then I would honestly recommend you only start HC chars next week, you may not think it's an issue but the servers as they are now with the lag, a few ms could literally mean the difference between life and permanent death.
