The Official "MyGaming" Anime Thread

Never used one, had a look at the popcorn hour website... Looks like the Popcorn Hour C-300 supports subtitle formats and at R4,399.00. It's a bit pricey for me.

I would rather roll with a HTPC I can get a:
MSI E350IA (CPU/GPU/MOBO)
4GB DDR3-1333
Cooler Master Elite 100
250GB HD
all for R2200~ then just buy a HDMI cable, install Linux and you have a HTPC that plays anything!

Ja I'm leaning more and more in that direction :) Also since I'm setting up automated downloading via NZB's I think that would be the way to do it ;)

Latest episode of fate/zero was pretty good (Kiritsugu Emiya showing some disturbing(?) tactics to win).

SNAP! there is a new Gundam Unicorn PV out on youtube! Due to release: May 19, 2012

Finally finished the bleach trek. I would however say that the xCution arc was rather pointless, would have been better to just let it end with the end of the arrancar and aizen. Sometimes it's better to cut short vs over explanation...

I've been watching the series Upotte! - I was a little wary of it at first (you know, guns being represented as cute girls), but I'm quite enjoying it actually. The last anime I saw that paid so much attention to detail where guns were concerned was Gunslinger Girls, although Upotte! has a lot more of a moe element in it.

Must say I was not impressed with gundam :-./

Isn't the Manga still going on. He gets powers back or something?

Oh trust me, Unicorn is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than that shit called Gundam AGE.

I quite enjoy it, one can see it's styled in a 80's type fashion very similar to Gundam, Zeta and ZZ and Wing and clothing, or it could just be the Time line they are in.

Manga is still going but it will eventually end.

Hello,

I am sure this question must have been asked a million times and if it has I am sorry,

I am new to downloading and I am looking for some links to sites that I can download some anima from, I am into the really violent hectic stuff, lots of blood cuts, I am talking about the real 18+ stuff :)

Please would you also advice on some good titles to look out for, I have not watched a anima in years and the last 2 that I watched was Ninja Scroll and the legend of the overfiend and it was awesome.

If anyone lives in the Northern suburbs of JHB and would be kind enough to share some of your anima with me that would be really awesome, I can meat you any where and I will bring my lappy and external

Thanks a lot

You only been following the anime or the manga as well...? The manga has a good pace going at the moment since it's into the final arc.

Animestash.info has a large collection of good quality anime vids.

I download most of my stuff there.

Hey guys, I have not been much of an anime fan but I must say I am really enjoying Bleach!! but I am getting really confused with all these "Filler" episodes... They probably are worth the watch but at the moment the original story has got me so hooked and I would rather watch those at the end or if I am bored. I am currently on Episode 192, having skipped season 9... and I have got episodes available up to 212 and I would like to know which seasons continue with the original story and which are the "fillers" so I know which seasons to download 1st and which to leave for later. Thanking everyone in advance. ^ ^

Anime are just so hard to keep track of and follow with the amount of derivative works that comes out. I just prefer to read the manga. Faster to read rather than watching 20- 30 min per episode per 24 episode per season per over 12 seasons that are out for Bleach or Naruto. Just don't have the time of the day when you are studying.

im into bleach and naruto. Those are my type of anime? any suggestions on other anime to look out for that have the same type of theme etc?

Only following the Priest Manhwa at the moment. Was following claymore, but it got tiresome. I could try bleach :o

Try Steins gate. It's a time travel anime but has great comedy and story line.

Not easy for first timers tho, there are many references to meme's and internet culture as well as Jpop culture too.

Shōnen is the style you like, I would recommend:
Gintama
Yu Yu Hakusho
Beelzebub
Saint Seiya
One Piece
Fairy Tale

Gintama, just finished airing thier (second season?) a few months ago the Director and Producer seem to air a good few shows every couple of month then leave it so the manga can develop further. One Piece and Fairy Tale are still airing weekly, 1p episode 550+ and Fairy Tale is well into the 130's+ the others are a bit older, 80's and 90's
