Most Wanted features "all the best sh**" from Hot Pursuit, Burnout Paradise

Very hard to explaind go play it but since you can't buy it anymore download it and play it and you will understand.

Most Wanted's best features was the open world, which this has & interesting chances with the cops, which this has. Most Wanted was a good racer because of the way the cars handled, most of which was true for Hot Pursuit also. It was also fun to just drive around causing looking for random cops to chase you. I really dont see any issue with this unless they bring in that idiotic race selection system from Paradise.

WTF, now there's 2 games with exactly the same name?

NFS: Most wanted 2005 and NFS: Most Wanted 2012?

Black Box did one thing right; they created Need for Speed: Most Wanted (The best NFS ever created IMHO).

Criterion, while they make some really cool games, I must admit, they don't really know how to make a Story-based NFS. As far as I'm concerned. Theyr'e all about speed, tricks and destruction. What Need for Speed: Most Wanted needs; a story, cars (girls, preferably) and fun. That is what the original Need for Speed: Most Wanted delivered to the player... Which is why I loved that game to bits!

Even a Copy-and-Paste of the original with the obvious tweaks, improvements and general game updating, the game can be made into something... Good enough even to rival its predecessor.

I feel very strongly about Most Wanted. It definitely changed the way I saw/see racing games.

Yeah shit how are we ever going to know which one is which?

The names are written in different Fonts

Most Wanted 2005

Please, PLEASE, tell me I read that wrong. Most Wanted's Story needs a story, like the original? No NFS game has every had anything but the thinnest plot, There are some pornos with strong characters than any NFS game. What this game needs is to not suck, focus on the Driving.

2005's cover looks a whole lot damn sexier than 2012's.... Fa sho dawg!;)

Maybe if your a horny teenager, graffiti fonts, douche bags in hipsters and stupid hats that talk like they are in a fast and the furious movie are SO 2005.

Id rather they not try and sex up the racing game again with has been actors, id like to think gaming has grown up, even if just a little bit, since 2005.

Wasn't so much a story than what it was keeping you glued to your game/screen to see what happens next.

Thinking inside the box is what's gotten many people where they are today... Stuck in the same mindset where a particular game or game type has to follow in a specific fashion (CoD developers suffer this terrible burden.) It's a racing game, yes, this I know. It's got your mods, upgrades and open-world experience you've come to expect from a racing... But just to keep you even more tuned to your screen they've added a small story.... To give the gamer something a little extra, without sacrificing that which makes it a not-so-typical racing game.

If you want to give something a story do it right or dont do it. Ham fisting some b-movie plot into the game for the sake of having it hurts the experience, it doesn't help it. Square plug, round hole. Its not about thinking outside the box, the player is never going to feel invested in the plot because your actions in game and that of the actors in the cut scenes dont line up, this creates a divide, a divide every NFS game with any hint of a plot fell into. It is why NFS Chrome and the others Bombed, not only was the story deeply stupid but the driving mechanics sucked. What Hot Pursuit did right was to say here is a world, here is why people are in this world. Go Drive and have fun. If you go ask 100 people who played Hot Pursuit what the plot was about I will be very impressed if half of them can tell you anything about the plot. I sure as hell can't and I remember the plot and story from pretty much every movie I have ever seen (it makes my 500+ movie library pretty useless).
