No problem it was a pretty cool find, just a little dissapointed its only configured for tegra 3 chips,so going to have to wait for the S3 to come.
Take heavy note aswell has to be THD not the HD?...Hd doesnt have the mapped keys on screen..

I saw that now :( I already have HD.... and only a Galaxy T 10.1v with Tegra 2..... so THD wont work.... but still gonna give it a bash as Diablo doesnt reaaaallyyy need keyboard bindings.....

Thats true, though come on having your spell abilities bound to the left is kinda cool.

I love splashtop hd cause atleast your getting 60 fps,if ypu use like a remote desktop app, the frame rate is so bad.
I got the same tab and it rocks using splashtop hd still

I'm gonna steal my dads Galaxy Tab and test this out... asked him why in the world he got a tab and he said for his Drifta so thats somewhat viable... sorry for the hating just dont see any use for a tab yet, esp since my dad is a mechy lol.
Also what cable is that?

Lols, for business use its actually ten times better, thats if your business is supporting apple and android.
Other than that its cool for online radio, having a sci calculator, means to rdp to your pc at home to download updates oh and that myth facebook.

Soz man should have put wireless N type, but being in I.T.....
Throughput on N type is enough to stream HD hence the reason why splashtop works like a bomb.

Yeah I can agree on business level its cool... me as a tech would like to have one when going out to Stores etc.
But for myself? Naw. Well since my dad took one on his contract I guess I'll mess around. So this D3 thing is my first attempt lol, but back to my question, what cable is needed for the streaming? He got a P7500 IIRC

Yeah that would be cool.as a tech it saved my life when downloading drivers and repairing my pc with my ssd problem.

Ok no cables at all, i am running, Pc over wireless N type to router, then from tablet wireless N type to router.
Install splashtop streamer on pc,then install splashtop HD\THD on tab then setup account info, then add a static connection in splashtop hd to pc.

I have played skyrim with this soft but all i can say it sucks without a mouse.

Oh and another FYI you can use TS on the pc and still communicate to your friends, just plug in your headphones with mic that came with tab and set your ts to the pickup volume desired.

Not only business.... parking in front of TV, want to check something on Web (post random stuff on Mygaming :)) is just so easy with Tab.... just pick it, and off you go. No Notebook to start up or waiting for Windows to start etc etc.

Also just sitting wasting time playing random Android games is alot of fun!
Watching Movies in Bed on Tablet, Reading books, reading comics, listen to radio.... the list goes on and on....

Believe me, I had a huge debate with me wife around this, and guess what.... I WON!!! :)

True, i couldnt win mine cause she works in law, so i just bought one and gave her an 8ta package, lets say blackberry isnt as bad as that thing.games are awsum when your waiting for government derpartments to stop chit chatter.

Anyways you can message me if you have any problems.

Tried it today, its awesome. Was lying on the couch in the living room playing some D3. Takes a bit to get the hang of it, but awesome party trick :D

Gaming aside, its a awesome remote desktop tool.

Forgive me if this is a really stupid question, but where does this say it supports iPad? I only see TAB :/.

I'm getting myself an iPad 3rd gen on Wednesday and would love to play Skyrim and Diablo III on it :D.

It does support iPad.

You get the Splashtop app for the iPad, download the Splashtop streamer software to your PC and you are good.

Seems cool i have to try it. Ty for sharing.

Np....was doing this at about 11....still trying to optimise the system as i find it so hard to play in inferno, but i blame that from joining friends on lvl 60.
My next thing is maybe getting a mouse to work with the tab, only issue on these samsung tabs is that you have to buy a bloody R400 adapter that doesnt garuntee that a hyped logitech or rat mouse will work, but when i do i will keep this updated.

There's a Splashtop HD version which is on the Ipad but does NOT have the gaming enhancements being talked about here. Splashtop HD is
a normal "Remote Desktop" type of client. So yes, you can play Diablo (or anything that runs on your PC) on it, but you will run into issues with the keyboard/ right mouse button stuff.

There is a Splashtop THD which is only available on Android. THIS version have the fancy on-screen controller things going and that is the version they are specifically selling for gaming on your tablet.

So keep that in mind. Ipad is not supported by this party trick, while Splashtop HD can do it, it's not great in terms of controls. Splashtop THD is what you -actually- want for this type of gaming.

This man has a valid point, my apologies. I managed to play D3 with the normal HD app, but the fancy controls would make it a lot easier. Hope they release the THD version on iPad.
