So what does the typical day at MyG consist of ? I mean besides the tequila slammers and conga lines.

We're a proper news room with desks and chairs and everything :P

In general, we check the news wires, press release wires, scrounge around for cool stories that might be overlooked, look to break local news, discuss editorial content and strategy (what the readers are enjoying, and what's not doing so well), and tend to the forum and the feedback we receive there. Plus a whole lot of other details specific to each person's role that I won't bore you with.
