First kit I got was a Mapex. It was awesome.

Nice. My first kit was a 3 piece jazz kit my old man paid R130. No jokes, was actually awesome.

Nope not sending the cash to paypal yet, seeing as we live in SA and the Bank is just waiting for you to withdraw you're money from paypal, just so they can report it and then you end up paying tax on it, I've done it before so for now leaving it where it is :)

I also had a 3 piece that friend let me borrow - then the Drum Expo came to town. I dragged my Dad to it expecting to get a set of drumsticks and walked out with a Wine Burgundy 5 piece, cymbals and a double bass pedal. I was like " :eek: :O~~ I'm in heaven! And it's full of drummers!!!" :D

I have seen the statue and bag in real life. Statue is awesome, the bag not massive but big enough to fit some things in.
