Ok kinda random and if you don't wanna share its cool...Have any of you guys made "Real Money" from the rmah?
Im sitting on 114 GBP at the moment :D Its stupidly easy to make cash on the AH though...lol

Wow dude. What are you selling? I'm nearly level 60 and not too far from Inferno. :D

Sold my first item for 3 EUR making a whole 2 EUR, seems only the top end stuff is really selling, ACT 3/4 gear. Any tips would be helpful. :)

I've sold 2 boots, can't remember exact stats but they both had 170+ Dex and 12% Movement speed, they sold for 30 odd pounds each, will check the figure tonight. Also sold a helm with 160 Dex 90 vit 78+ all res, that sold for like 40 pounds.
Rest of the cash came from some rings with high vit and strength on them.

Honestly, before you sell go through all the stuff available and price the gear your selling accordingly.
Its what I do and thus far its worked out, on high end stuff, I always sell for 2-3 pounds less than the other items that have the same or close to the same stats and mine always end up selling..Everyone loves a bargain lol
Act I also seems to drop some decent stuff every now and then, managed to loot a damn nice shoulder, 177 dex, 144 vit, 44+ all res from a elite pack.

I also buy and resell gear quite a lot.

On a side note, I looted a 1.2k dmg staff last night, 160 int and 178 vit :D
Probably the sickest staff I have seen..So that might sell for a crap load..mind you I died about 15 times getting that drop.
Dropped in whimsyshire inferno or whatever its called..and not even from a mob lol...dropped from a massive mushroom right at the end of the run...the rest of the elites/clouds/pots dropped jack shit lol

Well if you have time to farm gear and you get lucky rolls, you could make 200 - 300 pounds a month without really trying all that hard. Not sure after the patch though, people are reporting worse drops ect.

I know of 2 guys that have made around 800 pounds in the space of 5 days.
Although they sold all their gear and quit the game lol xD
 
You don't have to withdraw the cash from PayPal, you can just buy stuff online with it instead of sending it to your bank, hence you bypass the initial fees/taxes.
 
After loads of wipes in P2 & P3, including a late P3 wipe last night I eventually got Diablo Inferno down.

As a Tank Barb it takes ages with low dps so there loads of time to make mistakes, like last night in P3.

Ow and I did it without regen or Life on Hit :)

Will you continue playing Diablo III now or will you be moving to something else? Also if you do continue what will you be doing?

I'll continue playing for a long time to come, just like I did with D2.

Atm I'll keep farming Act3/4 for the best possible Tank & DPS sets for the Barb, while also collecting gear for my Wizard and other classes.
I'll also be helping friends gear and progress in Act 1 & 2 and at some point finish leveling my Monk, DH & WD :)

btw, I'm always looking for friends to group with and farm Act3/4. So if you at that stage in the game give me a shout :)

For how much did those shadow clones hit you in Phase 2?

I've started playing on my Barbarian again and will probably aim to clear it with him now.

Also what are your stats like when you killed him?

They hit hard so I've always just ran away from them till they despawn

Stats:

56k HP
10k Armour self buffed (you cant use enchantress on Diablo)
1.1k+ Resist All
31% block (dropped it down from 41% recently)
14k dps
0 Life on Hit

The game probly about 30% easier now after the patch

For me as a monk my biggest issue with the attack speed nerf is not so much DPS (I only lost about 800 and easily got that back), but rather I rely on attack speed to generate my spirit and now that has gone out the window.

I've made some changes to my build now, opting now for two fist weapons to make up for the spirit gen and I'm pushing my crit damage, got it from +50% to +150%.

I haven't had a chance to test it out yet, just bought the second fist weapon last night on the AH before logging out. I hope to give it a go tonight.
