I wasn't very impressed with the demo I played. It was mostly the stupid AI that got to me. Guess I expected too much

I thought the AI was fairly standard considering it's a cover-based shooter. At later stages of the game I was significantly challenged.

During the demo I also didn't notice anything different, AI wise between the enemies in this or the locusts in Gears or the countless ethnic minorities I gunned down in Uncharted. Honestly thought I am more interested in the character and his transformation during the narrative than the gameplay so yeah. Apocalypse Now is one of my all time favourite movies and the Original Heart of Darkness novel is lying on my desk waiting to be read in its entirety.

I wasn't expecting the story to be as good you've stated, so I'm really looking forward to this game !

A.I oddities I can overlook, I don't think there has ever really been a challenging A.I...

Really want to get this on Friday, but sadly I can only afford one more game this month and that game is Amazing Spider-Man. Will definitely get this somewhere along the line though.

Nice review. I'm tempted to buy this now because of the strong single-player experience, not many developers these days would risk making a military game with sp being the core game mode.

Unfortunately there wasn't a chance to dig into the multiplayer mode pre-launch, but i'll try check it out during the week and over the weekend, and share my thoughts.
