The Steam specials thread

The LA Noire thing would be Rockstar's doing, they seem to often limit their games availability by region so I'm guessing they were only interesting in offering this special in NA.
 
So I wonder when/if the Steam Summer sale is going to happen. Normally it's like last week or two in June to first week in July.
 
It's possible it might be tomorrow, but I highly doubt it. Most major Steam sales start on a Thursday so that the first few days run across a weekend.

I don't ignore them, but I ask myself whether I'm going to play the game before it goes on sale again. Usually not, so then I give it a skip.

If a game is cheap enough and it's a game I will play then I'll generally pick it up even if I only play it a year down the line. If it's a fringe game that I'm not sure about then it has to be super cheap before I consider trying it out. :)

Then you should probably has mentioned it was a rumour rather than presenting it as the truth. :)

Thursday sounds more likely but that's just speculation.

If only I can start playing one of the games I bought on special instead of replaying already completed ones... recently I was in the mood for Batman AC, Saints Row 2 & 3... so I played that, instead of getting through my backlog.

At least I've finished Fear 1 & 2 now which I bought almost a year ago... so at least, I do finish the games eventually (keyword here being "eventually") :)

Wait, I'm thinking 4th July, American Independence day which happens to be a Thursday. :)
