The advertising FAIL thread

I keep getting random smses from this number: 084 941 6460, sending me spam messages asking to call Matshelela. Do you guys have any sites I can register them to??

don't think there is such a thing, but it would be great. your best bet will be just to block the number.

I keep getting SMS's telling me about game releases and specials, but the numbnuts don't say who they are...oh well, their loss :p

Create a fake adult dating site profile, make it as perverted as possible, use that name and that number. Alternatively write that number inside ever bathroom stall you see with the words "phone me for a good time". Either way, you may not stop getting smses from it but just image the potential outcome.

I just downloaded iBlacklist instead and blocked the calls and smses from the doos, and set it to hang up immediately :)

I think most normal people dont call those numbers which is why its a good idea to put the number of someone who is pestering you on the wall since if any one calls it will be some mentally disturbed or otherwise fucked up individual.

The advertising fail thread should be reported in the advertising fail thread, for false advertising. All I read is crap about crap and shit. :D

One of our friends was targeted a while back, when someone advertised a free parrot on gumtree and added his name and cell number. The ad read something like that he is emigrating to Australia, and will give his parrot "poeksie" away to any lving home for free. He got hundreds of calls :D
 
That's not 'targeted' that's pranked aka punked. Also LOL. :)

I read this article a while back that someone wanted to get this oke back for something and he advertised an orgy on craig's list and put this person's address. Apparently quite a few people showed up, literally ready to rock out with their cock out.
