Do you guys ever proof read the stuff you post online, kind of shocking finding all these typos everywhere.
91.76 Mb/Sec upload to Hong Kong... cool story bro.
I was converting from kbps to Mbps and left one out :/
"All these typos everywhere"? Just one.
Ok thank you for your answerHI.
that is correct. IF you play any overseas games you will have a 200+ ping that will be yellow bars or 3 green bars at best. you loose the 3rd bar at roughly 120PIng.
So that is 100% in line with what you are experiencing
Hi guys I am new in this forum, actually I'm not south african, I am an Algerian who lives in Jo'bur (work), I have an Afrihost 4Mb uncapped , Belkin router and PS3.
My problem is when I play on MW3/PS3 I always have 2 bars (yellow), I made some researches on internet but didn't find any good answer for my problem, I was thinking it's maybe a problem related to ports but I am not sure, I tried yesterday but had difficulties to configure my router.
Can someone tell me if you guys have actually 4 bars when playing COD online on PS3 with european / american ....
So just to be clear there is nothing that I can do ? right ?
I heard that in Battle Field for exemple they have dedicated servers, this might help, or not ?
Ya, the best servers for console BF3 are European servers. I don't even attempt the American ones. I get 4 bars on a lot of the EU servers, and although I think we are at a disadvantage because of the pings, it's plenty playable. For games that do matchmaking based on pings, like GOW or MW2, I generally can't even get into a game.
There are really no local servers for consoles? Not even for PS3? Can someone confirm this? Don't understand why there is such a big following on SAGamer then. So all the local PS3 players play in EU lobbies? I find that hard to believe :/
