Guild Wars 2 Pre Order

Hi guys, ill be honest here. Im from a company that sells gametimecards online and im gonna say something here that will probably look like advertising but hear me out. Weve been seeing alot of people pissed off about not being able to get pre order version of guild wars 2 especially after BT games screwed the pooch and got the little bit of local stock that was available and flogged it.

So we have added it to the site, the Normal pre order version is R515 and Digital Deluxe Editon is R715. Both these come with pre order bonus and 3 day early access and we email you code immediately so you can start downloading game now. Standard Edition is R420 and you get code on day game launches.

Now im not gonna say what site it is but google a bit and you should be able to find it..
 
Excuse my ignorance, but what did BT Games do wrong? :confused: I preordered the game from them last week for R445 and got emailed my code immediately upon confirmation of payment.

a few months ago i pre-purchased my GW2 and it took me phone multiple times for them to finally send me my key.. Guess i just have bad luck but this isn't the first time i've had a problem with Bt games.. Guess its different for each person but i learned my lesson :(
 
Last Saturday morning I ordered the pre-purchase edition of Guild Wars 2 that offers 3 days early access and access to beta weekends. Early on Monday morning once my order had been processed I was emailed a key that allowed me to create my account and start downloading the client.

Looking on the website now I see that they no longer have it, so I must have been one of the last to be able to order it :)
 
Why is the pre-order version so expensive. I see some sites asking R430 for their pre-order version with the "incentives". I will rather wait for the release and then buy it. However, the one day early play time might be a nice incentive.

I don't think that's expensive at all? It's nowhere near the price of a new Xbox/PS3 game, and considering it's priced near the price of other MMO boxes and there are no monthly fees...it's a steal!

Trust us...this game, for that price....it's a steal ;)

Well worth the buy!

Yeah, R420 is actually not to bad price for Guild Wars 2, if you had to pay monthly fees, then that would have been expensive.

Look at it this way....D3 was R450/500 :p
 
So where can I get a proper pre-order from locally? Is the digital deluxe only buyable from GW2 site? I really don't want to pay in euros
 
Just out of curiousity, do we just get the key if we pre-order the standard version? Or do you guys ship the disc etc as well?
