Rate the Last Game You Played

Lollipop Chainsaw 8/10. Awesome, awesome game, but not for everyone. Like all Suda 51 games you are either going to love it or hate it. The singleplayer campaign is short, but the game should be seen as an arcade game that you can replay to unlock additional costumes, music, artwork, etc. You can also play the game in ranking mode and try to get on the leaderboards. Humour is brilliant and by the end of the game I felt a really strong connection with the characters, especially Nick. It might not have the best visuals or smoothest gameplay, but it is a lot of fun to play and I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard playing a game.

The Witcher 2-90%
I read reviews about this game and I couldn't wait for the xbox port. In order to ready myself, I read info on the witcher 1, the books, some of the major characters and even the geography of the fictional world. All worth it.

The game can be hard at times and expect some frustration, even when you're facing two enemies. The combat is almost like Assassin's creed on steroids. The story is amazing and thrilling with a possible 16 endings! Some of the things mentioned can be confusing (like the places), but you'll probably understand later in the game.

The visuals received a downgrade for the xbox version. Texture pop in is undeniably high and the framerate isn't the best (luckily my tv has motion flow) , but the game still looks pretty good.

What I didn't like about the game: The inventory system is pretty bad, some things are left unexplained, minor glitches (enemies vanishing, enemies not moving/responding making them easy to kill) and the difficulty can be harsh.

I recommend this game to all the gamers who like mature RPGs, get this game please! Help boost the sales, so I can play The Witcher 3

Mass Effect 3: 8.5/10
Despite not having the chance to play ME3 as it was released and having to hear all about the spoiler-filled ending(s), I still gave it a try (3 months later) Needless to say I enjoyed the game very much, it was a lot of fun to play through such an invigorating story. I noticed much improvements in gameplay and to be honest - playing as Shepard again was great! All I can say is that this game is excellent and highly recommended. It has a great story and fantastic gameplay. :)

SiN Episodes: Emergence - 7/10

I owned this on Steam for years, but finally got a chance to play it. Quite enjoyable, not great, but enjoyable for what it is. It's just too bad that there won't be any more.

Diablo 3.... I give it a 75%... because once i got to the end of the story, I was over replaying it just for new difficulties, as once I knew the story it got boring...

Other than that the gameplay, classes, art and cut scenes were superb and worth the price.

Spec Ops: The Line. 8.5/10 Really enjoyed this game, finally a military shooter that doesn't want you to be some golden boy hero. Definitely recommended for people who enjoy military shooters but want something different from everything else. Really good, mature, dark storyline that is definitely not for children/the faint of heart. The multiplayer is not half bad either, although it could have used a couple more maps and connection issues can get annoying. The gameplay is very standard for a third person shooter, but the game more than makes up for that with it's unique setting and well developed characters and story.

Darksiders: 6/10

Repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition.......

Exactly what did you find repetitive (besides the combat obviously, but that's any hack 'n slash based combat system). I've finished the game twice and plan to do a third run next month before the sequel comes, but I really don't remember the game being repetitive. Quite the opposite, you constantly get access to new tools (such as the gun, grappling hook) and the environments you explore all look very different if memory serves.

I admittedly didn't get very far, because it bored me, but I don't like a game that has the illusion of a bunch of different attacks, that, while they look really cool, amount to pretty much the exact same thing. There's no skill inherent in the gameplay itself in terms of how you use or combine attacks. Pretty much mashing the same button and/or attack over again works just as well as anything else, with the exception of doing a jump attack. I also don't like how the kill animations are always the same, with one or two minor exceptions. It makes it a chore, since you have to watch the animation again, so you just kill them the old fashioned way.

Meh.

There lies your problem. Darksiders is not about the combat. It's about exploring a beautifully crafted world and discovering a conspiracy behind what caused the apocalypse. Also, puzzles and a few pretty cool boss fights. I like to see Darksiders as a cross between a God of War type game and a Legend of Zelda type game. If you're looking for something with a decent combat system I would suggest something along the lines of inFAMOUS, [PROTOTYPE], Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, God of War, etc. Or, if you really feel like a challange, get the game(s) with probably the best combat system in the business: Demon's Souls or Dark Souls.

I have both Dark Souls and Demon's Souls, and that is what's missing: challenge and variation. How you play and what buttons you press actually matters, whereas in some of the games you mentioned above (especially God of War), you could mash the same button over and over again and get the same result.

To be honest, the story seemed really lame at the outset, but I'll give it another chance and try to get a bit further this time.

Singularity - I give it a 8/10 was surprisingly awesome. Like Call of Duty meets Bioshock. Crazy time travel story, makes you want to go back and play it again beause of things thar are revealed in the end. 3 different endings too.

Level of detail in the environments was mind blowing.

I loved Singularity! finished it on all 4 endings ^_^

Battlefield 3 - Campaign & Multiplayer mode
9/10 for me. The graphics & gameplay are not bad, however I'm having difficulty in adjusting myself from PC to console

Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalker (PC)

8/10

Not much to say about this... It's magic, on the PC, you win some, you lose some... yet still it's so damn addictive! Got me back to learning the rules very quickly.
