Hey Omega

How is it going over there?

No complaints from my side, weather is a little miserable but its not too bad. My phone says its 16 degrees.

Other than that its all good except that public transport is getting hectic due to the olympics starting next weekend. I may have to alter my work day to be from 7am to 4pm so I miss the worst of it.

Ah yea, I actually glad to not be there for that. Especially since I used to live near Stratford. . . I was one stop further in Maryland on the overland train. If you can change your work hours for the duration of the Olympics - do it, just to make live a bit easier, cos I can imagine how packed the trains and tube can be.

I must admit Im not happy with our warm weather - I want the cold to stay!

I live on the isle of dogs on the other side of Canary Wharf so yeah the DLR is going to be packed, not to mention the central line which is already busier than usual in the mornings.

Lol Omega, for some reason I never liked the DLR - No idea why tho. Oh wait it was because at that time we couldnt afford places along that route :P

We used to take trips that way just because it was scenic and I had family living at Canary Wharf that I would visit often

A it better thanks dude, but still not 100%.

Take it easy, the Red is also sick at home with a raspy cough. I have weather it at least so hopefully wont get sick especially since I have that op in 3 weeks time

I use the DLR every day, Island Gardens Station is 5 min walk from the flat so yeah. Without it my trip to work, in central london just off Totenham court Road, would be very different and alot longer. DLR is also the most reliable of the rail services in London, more so than all the Underground lines.

Omega, yea I know about the DLR

My luck was such that we lived on the Northern Line - the one that always has an issue thanks to ppl jumping in front of trains as well as various issues like a leaf on the track (that excuse was given once), we where shot at once as well. But I would still give anything to have such a system up and running here in the Cape

I am going to be getting my paws on a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS6: my cousin is a senior manager for said firm in San Francisco. :)

[so he gets staff discounts]
