Be aware that the game has some horrible low resolution textures on everything except for the characters. The gameplay is still fun, but I am encountering a problem where I get massive slowdown the moment I enter a new area. It normally takes about a minute or so for it to smooth out from 10fps back up to 60fps. Obviously this kind of ruins the 'fun' part.

Make sure you check out all the optimisation guides, they do make a noticeable difference.
