How about innovation on the PC, the most versatile platform out there?

I'm curious as to how many people will adopt the new consoles when they get released...

Well considering that Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio, 343 Industries, Quantic Dream, etc pretty much only make games for consoles ... I will have to get the new platforms when they release.

I agree that the next generation is quite overdue. The gap in hardware capabilities between a mid range pc and the current gen consoles is pretty huge.

It was a toss-up between that and a policeman pic, but I think this one suits you better. The polisiemannetjie-sindroom is probably a direct result of it anyway.

Nintendo Wii: November 19, 2006

6 years have passed since the youngest of these consoles were launched :(

Then get your shit in order. If you want to be a moderator so bad, submit an application to James. If not, then stop playing a policeman on the forums. It got tiresome ages ago. Most of us were like that back when we were 15.

Also, you'd be pretty lucky if a guy like me got a hard-on for you. I only go for guys between 18-22, and then, I don't go for guys with obvious self-esteem issues either. :)

No doubt a lot of people will have an interest in the new consoles when they, but pricing may just decide how many of those, actually take the plunge... It could possibly create a shift in the console crowd/market

The problem is also, amongst the mainstream crowd current gen consoles will still sell very well. The mother buying her 13 year old an Xbox for christmas doesn't exactly care whether the new console is better. This one is cheaper.

I won't buy any of the new consoles on release this time around. Until there's something that's exclusive to the console(s), I will continue gaming on my PC for the time being.

Was a mod, for this forum, for over a year (I think), gave it up. As a senior forum member I feel a responsibility to help out instead of waiting for someone to run to a mod, if any of the mods has any issues with me doing so they have had ample time to ask me to butt out but as yet I have not been repromanded since I called someone "A fucking idiot" with pretty pictures. So while you may feel little or no need to help out & am perfectly happy whining about me, or other subject I do not so there.

Careful you will hurt my feelings. Also its called a god complex, not self-esteem issues, although I personally prefer Centre of All creation complex or Divine Emperor of the Multiverse syndrome.

The problem is that you're no longer a mod. You still trying to act like one makes things worse, because people generally don't take well to being reprimanded by someone who is not a mod, and in doing so, you will likely only stir the pot further. Besides, telling people they are all morons in binary doesn't quite help the situation either. That's more like feeding the flames.
