MWEB cuts pricing for 10Mbps uncapped ADSL

but im a little like a Chameleon on a Smarties box at the moment....
When Telkom upgrades my 1MB line to a 2MB line for the same price, will this then mean I then need to upgrade my MWeb to a 2MB Line and pay more??

If that is the case, I will then downgrade my Telkom line to a 1mb again. Cant afford to pay almost double to MWeb....

Probably, because mweb already made all the 384k data lines into 1mbps lines.

Makes sense, but then I will start looking at other alternatives like AfriHost.
Been an avid MWeb ambassador up to now......

I guess will have to wait and see what happens August.

Kinda expected this to happen but didn't expect it to be that much extra, I'll probably also downgrade the line speed and stick with 1mb

You don't NEED to upgrade the account, you can still use your 2Mbps line on a 1Mbps account you just won't get full speed.

That much I know, but that's just wasting money though. Then rather downgrade the Telkom Portion and save myself some money to spend on Steam :)
 
Yeah, if you happy with 1mbps, then downgrade and save yourself a hundred or so rants.

I'm keen to try out 2mbps, so I'll have to fork out R180 more or so/month.

Thats a nice decrease on the 10mb line, but I still cat have that... I am unofficailly running at 6mb/s. Telkom says i sync at 4 my router snyc at 6 and downloads at 6. LMAO.

As for the 2MB thing i think its just R10 on your line rental telkom's side if you not using their bundles, and should be done Septemeber with all the upgrades or something. But if you are fine with the 1MB line then down grade I am sure there is alot to save.
 
if Mweb give me 2mb at R299 yeah Ill take that .then it still seems worth it , else they going to have a shit load users downgrading
 
I would like to see 6mb and 8mb product as well not just 10mb and 4mb.
