Fox News makes flimsy link between Aurora shooting and video games, obviously

In other news: The Sky is Blue & Water is Wet.

People saying he "looked like joker with his dyed hair" was a stretch (Joke has Green hair DUH!) This is in a another time zone for facts.

"In the continuing attempt to prove that video games are the source of all violence and evil in the world, Fox News are linking the Aurora, Colorado, shootings to World of Warcraft."

World of Warcraft ..... LoL

Does Fox News even now what WoW is .... it is definitely one of the games with the most gore and violence .... grappie

Can someone please translate the freaky deaky Dutch.

I watched a movie this week, in which an American kills a bunch of people in a cinema...movies like this probably have nothing to do with this.
(link to God Bless America)
If you ask me, they should release the guy, give him an AK47 and drop him off in front of Fox studios.

There you go.

google translate: "I now have this week watched a movie where an American crowd in a Cenima off (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1912398/) .... such good movies and certainly nothing to do.

If you ask me they need that guy back and let loose on the Fox studios with AK47 drop."

Google translate cant even decipher Afrikaans .. lol

It's Fox News.

The end.

+1
Fox news doesn't have much credibility so I don't really take them seriously. They pretty much report whatever the heck they want, be it fact or fiction. They're not the type to waste their time with facts. Just watch any single episode of The Daily Show (Jon Stewart)... I find the politics and media in US quite entertaining.

The media will try and make people think that it was gaming that caused this, but in actual fact it's society that does things like this because they're all just as small minded as the rest of the Murderers, Rapists, Thieves, etc...

Before they said that it was gaming because he had a Poster on his wall, which in actual fact wasn't a video game it was a paintball tournament. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that.

I will just let this picture speak for itself, im not saying a word...

Fox news is basically a news channel for the idiotic, ignorant, mostly conservative christian populace of the southern States. It cashes in on those people's ignorance and need for sensationalism.

The reason blame for events such as these are heaved upon things like video games/movies/music is because people need someone or something to blame. Blaming video games means that it wasn't just some random act that no one could have predicted, it help the frail human mind deal with the fact that at our core human beings are capable of horrific acts that have no causality. Imagine if walking down the street and knowing that any of the people on the side walk with you, on the bus/train or plane could at any moment do something unspeakable to you or your loved ones. And even though that could still happen the idea that something other than basic human nature is to blame for it keeps peoples hopes alive, allows them to live their lives. In the 60s Rock and roll was the scape goat, then tv and I am sure when the first books where printed they where blamed for random and senseless acts.

It's also easier to explain than possibly the broader socio-economic and/or psychological factors.

To your average person those are just big words used by the evil corporate cabal running the world to confuse common folk.
