Except that is not always the case, very often that's not the case. So I would think the sarcasm is undue. :)

That's because they're announcing that they're actually working on making the game look better on PC, as opposed to just doing the bare minimum for their PC port, like many other companies do.

There's nothing wrong with that, unless you're a drama llama.

Well isn't that nice of them.

I'm pleased to see they have worked on implementing some advanced graphics features not available to consoles, as well as high-res textures. It sucks when you notice a console to PC port is still using the standard textures from the console version, such as From Dust.

Following my hands-on with the game, I'm really excited for this one - looks like a lot of fun.

Honestly dude, what the hell else are they supposed to do? Just shut up and don't inform anyone that they're improving the graphics on the PC platform? Why shouldn't they say something if the graphics on one platform is going to be better? How else are gamers supposed to know if they're just doing a straight up port or polishing it up a bit.

Sometimes I really think you only post your opinions simply for the sake of being controversial, not because you've actually got anything worth saying.

Personally, I'm glad the PC version is being given special attention. I'm getting pretty tired of buying PC games that look the exact same as their console counterparts. I didn't pay all this money for my PC just so I can play games that have graphics designed to run on hardware from 2006, and it's nice to see that developers are starting to realise that this is how PC gamers have started feeling.

They, just like me, can do and say whatever they want. They report on something I have an opinion on and I give that opinion. It's kind of how a forum works. Whether or not you agree, disagree, like or dislike my particular view is entirely your business. But don't for a fraction of a second think you know even close to enough about me to be able to even speculate on my reasons for posting.

Once again, follow you own advice; if you don't like a post ignore it. You already got gold in "Not Following You Own Advice" do you need me to give you silver and bronze too because I'll be honest it's kind of a one man race...

Damn...Finally something other than BF3 to push high end gaming machines.
That said, my rig took a piss on max payne 3 xD So I'm hoping for some serious visual candy from this title.

And your opinion in your first post was based on you missing the entire point of the article, so, woohoo! I think? Hooray for opinions.

Also, you'll find there's a marked difference between someone making a two-line post, like in the other thread, and someone posting an utterly useless post with a bunch of pics, like in this thread. :)

Either way, tiresome bickering is tiresome.

Wait, was Max Payne 3 that graphically intensive that it could be measured alongside things like BF3?

On maxed out setting it was insane, it used a crap load of the available resources.
As for BF3 I still don't think its the "most graphically intensive" title out there, I still think Crysis 2 with the DX11 upgrade on maxed out settings is a much more graphically intensive and beautiful experience.

The thing that makes bf3 such a resource hog is the wide open maps and area's, when playing on ultra settings, you can have some serious fps drops while in a tank battle with smoke and fire ect.
