The term is sandbox & yes this is like GTA or Just Cause or Saints Row.

This looks so much better than GTA, I hope the story holds up. I am particularly looking forward to the kung fu melee fighting.

The hands-on I got was promising; I was itching to get more combat time - it was fun! You can clearly see the influence and assistance from RockSteady in the design. As mentioned in my preview, Square Enix retains a stake in the studio, so they pulled some strings to get that particular mechanic working brilliantly.

I saw a video of the fighting which immediately reminded me of Batman AA & AC. Its a brilliant mechanic that looks good and rewards well while punishing button mashing just enough. Is it out nextweek Friday in SA also?
 
I had a bit of hands on time with this game, the fighting is really cool and reminded me alot of the Batman series. I am definitely going to get this one.

I think it only arrives on the 21st for us.

lol soapbox- must have had something dirty on my mind.
yes, Im loving the GTA's at the moment- picked up san andreas for R30 at makro. was up LATE last night.
