I would say I am cautiously optimistic. I've heard many bad things about CS though none of them was about the game.

BTW look what I pre-ordered to replace the Borderlands 2 Loot Chest.....

You'll be getting it for Xbox I presume? It does look seriously sick. Like Burnout Paradise done right.

Nothing Much, I no longer require the use of glasses and Sleeping Dogs is out Friday.

i wanna get it on pc (the ability to mod nfs games on pc is very tempting). sleeping dogs look pimp, ign gave it an orsome unbiased review

Cool.

IGN & Unbiased isn't 2 words I would put in the same sentence. Check out the Edge review on their website and Gametrailer also did a good review.

What happened to it, Wenzdayz?

Will you be coming to rAge this year?
It keeps going on and off, probably but will see closer to the time.

Is it sill buggered?

@Omega - Nice CE that.

Nope, had Laser eye correction surgery and except for my right eye being a little "off" still all is good and I have 20/20 vision again.

Is it still with Joker?
Jip got it back after they changed the BIOS on the card and supposedly tested it and confirmed that it worked. but when i put it in my pc the issue was worse. Gave it back to Joker so now he is on their case. hopefully i can get a new card by the end of the week. they had the card for like a month just to fix the BIOS...

That really sucks :(

Hello :)

Jir Lawrence Barrett in Deus Ex: HR gave me a beating last night.

Ah the Boss Fights of Deus EX: HR, the huge shit stain on what is otherwise an epic game. I, having chosen to play my usual stealth/hack combo, used mines and nades to kill him. Was the first in a long line of hugely disappointing boss fights. I actually ended up turning the difficulty right down for one of the later boss fights since with my chosen character build fighting her was just impossible.

Yeah the general opinion on the interwebs is that the boss fights weren't that great (and really difficult, as character builds are completely different and many people don't have the right augmentations for the fight). I have a few EMP grenades, no mines though. I got really close to beating him last night after numerous attempts.

LOL the first item on the Raptr page for the game is called "Lawrence Barrett I have you". At least I know that I am not alone.

Best way to beat most of the bosses are exploiting them. Barrett has exceptionally shit pathfinding and by using cover you should be able to, with effort, steer clear of him & keep unbreakable items between you and his minigun. Also dont be afraid to use your gun since the ammo there respawns if I remember correctly & I think there are a few nades in there as well.

IMO, as a junior designer, the best way for them, the devs, to fix this issue is to allow players to respec Adam at the cost of a single Praxis point. I mean the dude is a state of the art cyber badass im sure he can re-wire himself to better work the task. Its not a clear win though since you loose the power of the choices made by allocating to specific abilities, this would also propably lead to players respecing every time they got stuck but reducing the availability of Praxis points a bit might deter this, however given the mess that is the boss fights and how much they fuck up the overall game experience it is what I would do had I been the Lead Designer/Producer/Director person.

Yeah I see that he is pretty slow and that there is some cover that I can use close to an ammo box. Will try to klap him tonight.

I can agree with you that it would be cool to change the layout of your Praxis points. There have been a few times where I thought "Fuck, I should have rather spent it on that".

Oh trust me there will be many of those, quiet a few of the upgrades in that game was pretty much useless.

Is he the first boss? Beat him by chucking gas cylinders at him.

Yeah that would work to and stagger him allowing you to pound him with whatever weapon u have.

First boss, yeah. He's a bloody chop.I would well believe you. They would have done well to just make certain enhancements available after a certain point in the game, or something like that.

It is rather unbelievable how badly they missed the mark if you really think about it. The bosses are the clogging point, if you reworked them to allow multiple approaches or allowed the player to simply avoid them like in the original the rest of the game is fine.

The very first time I went up against him I thought I was being really clever by stunning him and trying a takedown from the back. But it had no effect. I was bloody pissed.
