Battlefield 3 PC discussion thread MK II

yeah, lately i have been in a few games with amazing jet pilots, they were getting kills every strafing run and i'm talking about tanks just using machine guns hey, not rocket pods.

2 names comes to mind, i don't want to name and shame as for all i know they could be just Sh!t hot, but both these guys went like 40+ for like 2 or 3 deaths

I tend to avoid maps with jets,too unbalanced.

The clan games so far are fun,having a team that works together is pretty awesome.

Other then that i play TDM and SQDM and get a K/D of 4+ in most games.

that's because the guys that made BC2 actually played BF before, ...........the guys who made BF3...fack, i don't even think they played Angry Birds before?!

so many good concepts and basic things that work in BC2 was just striaght up left out of BF3!!
 
Never played BC2, so cant really compare game play.
But i think BF3 is awesome, especially clan games and the tactical and team play part of it.

One thing that i might mention is that BF3 has very realistic graphics and it can often be quite...bland, nothing exciting and colourful.
Its about about realism and seriousness, whereas BC2 from screenshots looks more colourful and casual or fun.
 
Still is fun every now and then I enjoy playing and is not the type to weigh up one game against another it is personal experience of the game itself for me.

The upside to this is that it does more damage then a standard carbine over range.1 more bullet to kill at close range and 1 less to kill at long range.

Here is a comparison between it and the M4A1:

The ACW-R only surpasses the M4A1 after 37m but it has a slightly higher fire rate then the M4A1 so it's more at around 20m.

It's more accurate then the M4A1 but only when standing still,even while standing still it's still less accurate then most AR's


For maximum effectiveness you can use the HBar with it so it's damage drops off slower over range.

Holy crap dewd! That link is awesome! Wanted something like to see what does how much damage! I mean, reading the description when choosing a heavy barrel or silencer or whatever doesn't really give (me) exactly what it does wrt to damage.

It must have taken some long hours to create those stats, flippen impressive...just, how come I cant choose the SMAW vs M4A1 :D "whistling:

They study the game files to find out the exact stats.
