Fallout 4 could be set in Boston: rumour

If I was the producer/ Lead Designer I would actually start a new Trilogy, set the first one some time, 50 - 100 years after the bombs fell. Thought the 3 games I would change the setting slightly, naturally, depending on the choice the player made. Like how in Fallout 1 the player has a quest to save Tandi, in Fallout 2 she is President of the NCR but the player could fail the quest in F1 without it affecting F2's cannon. I think that has some potential. Kind of what Mass Effect did with story except I would mould it into the environment(s).

Would be interesting to see how something like this would work :-). I also would love FO aFO2 HD remakes

BTW Author, Link from article to Thread is broken.

In other news:

I bet there will be a BoS base in MIT

I don't care where it's set or what engine it uses, just officially announce the damn thing already!

If they do use the creation engine though, this time around they should fix the lag and other issues (especially on console, more specifically PS3) before actually releasing the game. I am actually replaying FNV for the fourth time now and still loving every second of it and still discovering new things. Just last night, for example, I discovered a legendary bloatfly (that I cannot for the life of me kill) and a miniature deathclaw (which I managed to kill, eventually).

A legendary Bloatfly, where did you discover that? Was it close to the lake where the b29 is crashed? Cause I've encountered a pretty tough bloatfly there, myself, EDE and Veronica took ages to kill him. I ran through all my ammo and stimpacks trying to take him down, didn't check what it was, just ran for my life after it died.

They really need to create more varied environments in 4, I do believe that they did a bit better form 3 to New Vegas, but not by much. I don't want to go on a nother 40+ hour journey of *Look, more dessert and more sand*.

That means that I still have enough time to finish F3, then move on to that nice little NV Ultimate Box sitting in my collection :D...

I know that feeling. I did complete Fallout 3, but I still have a fair bit left to do in NV. Unfortunate I didn't give it more attention before Cataclysm came out... (I quit WoW shortly after then, as a side note)

It's in the mysterious cave you find in Old World Blues. There are other, normal, Bloatflies in the cave as well but this one has like a radioactive green glow. I must have used like 20 stimpaks and a crapload of both normal guns and energy weapons but I still could not kill it. I will go back to settle the score once I reach level 50.

Wonder if its not maybe tied to a quest or something, maybe they made it unkillable outside of the the quest parameters.
