o.O could be due to the stress testing, I know their account servers were offline last night, didn't get my validation e-mails until this morning.

Honestly...that was so terrible :D It was like a car crash...terrible but I couldn't tear myself away haha!

Were you browsing the web while you waited? Because my client was downloading at 20-25Kbps and the second I closed Chrome it immediately jumped to 100Kbps (full line speed). So weird as I wasn't downloading anything and it didn't speed up when I stopped loading web pages but kept the browser open, only when I closed it.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is so that the stores that have to deliver can get it to clients on Monday, in time for playing on Tuesday.

I was up to date last night. It's got around 4700 files to do now. (540-odd megs)

sorry guys but i don't feel like going through all 372 pages but any idea when the normal pre-order guys can go live? Monday 9am?

need to know so i can book leave on monday lol
 
Well, so far the pre-order bonus means nothing to me.
Can't find a local (Nelspruit) to copy completed download off of, and I seem to be getting only around 10% per day on my 384k...

Might as well wait for the disk on Tuesday.

Yea, musica gets everything wrong. They are still awaiting stock at the DC, so the chances we will have it in store by Friday is highly unlikely.
 
If you created a continuum with Skyrim on the far left at position 1 and Diablo on the far right at position 10, where would Guild Wars fall from a genre perspective? i.e. is Guild Wars closer to Diablo or Skyrim or....is it more like Neverwinter Nights?

I know they're very different games (as someone pointed out on another thread, apples, oranges and bananas), but nevertheless

I enjoy playing Diablo, Skyrim not so much (prefer third person isometric dungeon crawler to first person view). Am I likely to enjoy playing GW2?
