Yeah, but then you can't get the other two expansions which gives you the hi-res textures for certain things in DayZ.

What server are you playing on?

I might go venture to Electro to take out some bandits. :P
I still remember spawning east of Electro and running across the north-eastern part just outside of Electro where I heard shots fired on me... it did take him(them?) like 20 shots to kill me, which was funny but yea. Some retribution is in order. :)
 
The situation at Electro on ZA3 & 4 is insane, but keeps drawing me back for more each time. Even if you die: grab nearest rifle, run back. Chances are you either get to your semi-looted corpse or you play smart and flank the killers and kill them and take their loot :D :D

Things like the British Armed forces DLC gives HD models and better looking scope cross for L85 etc. Don't have it myself thou

Was on ZA2.

More or less the area that you described.
 
ZA4 User Kromas. Ill be driving up and down the coast in my party buss. Any friendlies are welcome to get some food/weapons from me. Any bandits are welcome to die and die and die some more. Also the guy with the Axe in elektro .... Ill be coming to get my NVG from your corpse soon.
 
Hey Guys,
I am having real problems with the install - I have followed all the guides on the DayZ Wiki, using the DayZ commander, with all my directories correctly set, I can't load the game. The problem seems to be with the Beta patch 90961 - My system doesn't want to load the beta. I have used the instructions here: http://www.dayzwiki.com/wiki/How_to_install_DayZ
I'm getting similar errors to this guy: http://www.fpsgeneral.com/forums/ba...ing-bin-config-bin-cfgingameui-mptable-shadow
but I am using the version from GOG.com, not Steam. I have tried running everything as administrator. I've tried editing the registry etc. Anyone else with any other ideas? Maybe it's because I'm using the GOG.com version?

Welcome herr doctor! Hope you get things sorted so we can kill some zombies and maim some bandits!
 
I haven’t played for a while now, but I it does seem like the scripting has increased on ZA servers.

On Saturday I believe (the last time I played), a few of us were in Cherno in quite a decent vantage point. On 3 occasions players would “spawn” next to us (probably ghosting on another server where it safe before switching, hoping to take us out), many failed as a result. The kicker is that a particular player (or 2) would constantly be very close to us, with the exact same loadout as what he had when we killed him (L85AWS+PDW). Also, lots of kicking for scripting happening too, which is good to see.

Would those player's names be DecimatorZA, Jamilla, and two others? (NH Tags)

I had endless issues with these guys on the weekend. And when I finally took them all out (I'm sure as I was careful to scout first) I got shot a few seconds later by the exact weapon they were carrying. Hacking and scripting has become really bad :(
