Can Global Offensive return Counter-Strike to the forefront of online gaming?

I think CS:GO will be a massive hit, it's quite refreshing these days, where it's all about skill and there are no noob tubes in sight

The game is so smooth and the aiming as accurate as ever, it's like 1.6 with a new engine. The weapons are as fun as they used to be, they just have major recoil, so no spray and pray happening here

I think it's going to be epic online, as long as the servers are stable and hackers are kept at bay
I think the biggest positive is going to be community input, which is lacking in most of the popular games these days, which causes many users to lose interest due to playing the same maps and modes continuously

Has anyone played on the Jailbreak servers? They are quite random and fun.

I am loving it. I can't wait to get home and play. Only weapon that slightly dissapoints me is the M4. Doesn't feel as crisp and peppy as in source. It also has no sil

Clearly you haven't played 1.6 in a long time as CS:GO is nothing like 1.6, if anything it is close to source but it is basically a new game and doesn't have much of 1.6 in it. They need new maps in CS:GO that are for competitive play as the current maps do not live up to that standard but otherwise it can possibly be a big game like you said. The game is more casual and will invite alot more noobs to play.

It's not a deal breaker. Some people may even prefer the new one. Loads of other guns that make it awesome.

Well, maybe that is just how I remember 1.6

Either way the new CS is pretty awesome, if you've ever liked CS you will enjoy this
