In typical Game/Murphy's law fashion the day I decide to buy the fucking thing they will jack the price by £20.

Unfortunatly this didn't stop me from getting it and I may now find myself sleeping on the sofa should my wife find out. I also managed to get Pokemon black with it and a power supply and only pay £197.00 ( The clerk fucked up & didn't ring up the Pokemon black and white game) but hey Im not complaining by my estimates the £179 for the console, £29 for the game and £8 for the power supply should have cost me £217 so yeah. I still count this as a win.

Yeah doesn't sound that bad. Roundabout the same as you'd find it here I think (I AM to lazy to use xe).
Lekker dude, klap that stuff. I also have Black, lots of fun. Also, get the free 3D Pokedex app from the store, will be handy later on.

Yeah very cool. I have taken some awesome 3D pictures with the device. Cool thing, it keeps a 3D and normal copy of the picture, so if you happen to snap a picture that you'd actually like to use outside of the 3DS, you can also do that.

Haven't played any of the SNMB games over here. For some reason, it just stays at the same price level. Will see if I can scoop it up at rAge. I played StarFox 3D at a store, really good game. Try downloading the demo over the e-Shop before purchasing anything. You can get a great feel of the game without buying it.

Im thinking about picking up 2, I mean its not like there is some deep plot governing the series. Its a Mario game after all. I think I will download the Demo for StarFox and see what it's like.

Nah doubt there's any plot... when I played NewSMB on the DS it was just the general Princess Peach gets catured blah blah blah.... So I'm sure NewSMB2 will be the same... It's more of a fun game than a serious story game.

Well since my only game is a DS title I haven't really used the 3D to the fullest. I love the AR games and thing is a neat gimmick. Over all I really like it and it would seem I am forced to eat my words.
I am really enjoying being able to Play on the train or sitting on the sofa watching TV & I am looking forward to playing a whole lot of new, different games. So yeah, no complaints so far except that I forgot about the phonebill on friday when I bought it which has now left me in a pickle until friday. :S

Yeah, I do the same on the Gautrain. It is a lot of fun playing around with that little guy. It is something completely different (not really, but somehow it feels like it) than mobile phone gaming.
