Downloading via torrents? You are being watched!

“We found that publicly-available blocklists, used by privacy-conscious BitTorrent users to prevent contact with monitors, contain large incidences of false positives and false negatives.”
As in those are pretty spotty.

Sure it does give more failed hash checks than without it, but it doesn't really affect speed so I don't see the problem.

Do these people also take down IP's from other countries too?

Isn't this new "anti-piracy" violating our right to privacy?

You only figured that out now ;)?

Our view of "privacy" does not exist. Most keyboards these days have microchips in them that monitor what you type anyway.

Sitting here wondering who would be interested in the kak I do on the internets :p

Yup, any "FCC" branded keyboard has this chip in it, which is most keyboards these days. It's in their legal jargin where they state this.

Surely most people on these forums don't download copyrighted material, or am I missing something? What's the issue here? :wtf:

You have 100% legit music, movies and series? Most people don't, like for example all games are bought but some of the music libraries is not.
