Call of Duty teaches kids about morality reckons military veteran

What a load of shit. Cod games glorify war. :-/

Fixed for you.

While I do believe than games can teach kids about morality I dont think COD is the one to teach it too them. Someone should let this guy play the criminally underrated Spec Ops The Line, now that has a few lessons to be learned.

What COD in fact teaches kids is how to be a sex machine.

So many of these kiddies have slept with my mother, every night, all day, every day.

That's if I read the in game text chats correctly.

"Call of Duty teaches kids morality, claims military veteran hired by Activision"

Fixed it for ya.

Actually playing spec ops. That game really makes you question the shit you doing.

Like, "What if all these convenient chest-high pieces of cover weren't here?" and "Why is my squad mate such a flaming idiot that keeps running into the line of fire instead of shooting his gun?".

No dude :p The message behind the game. The little things. The decent into madness.

You want madness, play Spec Ops: The Line.

THAT is a disturbing war game.

I think that's what they're talking about.

I haven't played it (yet), but anything even loosely based on Heart of Darkness is going to be some seriously dark shit.

No more like pointing out how absurd it is to mow down a never ending stream of bad guys. Dealing with the emotional and mental consequences of Killing Civilians accidentally or due to being forced into an impossible situation. PTSD. Exploring why we play game, the naivete of every gamer's hero complex etc. It is one of the few games where player choice is offered without the game spoon feeding it to you.
Spoiler: show
When you are surrounded by the refugees you can fire into the air and the crowd will scatter. At the end you can choose to put down the gun, kill or the soldier or try (and fail).

Its an incredible game, I highly recommend it.

Should have bought it today. I had it in my paws. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

You should have. It has a few issues but few games will kick you this hard in the gut and make you sit back and go "What the fuck did I just do"

Oh fail, I missed that.

Great minds, eh?
