What do you think? Does EA have a future in the gaming industry? I personally say no because I'm sure allot of people
Will or already has boyqoted (not sure about the spelling) EA

EA has rooted themselves so firmly in the gaming industry that I doubt they'll ever drop out. They're a behemoth who would hold a monopoly on producing videogames if they could, and they don't care if a game is shitty so long as they rake in the cash. I mean, they've tried buying Valve countless times over the years.
 
Is there a comp running that needs post? Not the first weird post from JP'S. add to that fact, it was posted in "How to guides and Walkthroughs"

EA? Without a future in the gaming industry? You have got to be kidding.

They own some of the most successful IPs out there, not to mention some of the most prestigious studios.

EA? No future? LAWL.

EA is one of the few publishers who could (and did) get away with launching their own distribution platform (which still manages to function better than Ubisoft's UPlay crap).

So... yeah.

To answer the OP, EA won't die (even in the apocalypse:D). Successful IP's + successful studios != No future
 
2 things...

2) please put this in the correct section(the jokes section would probably be best)
and this is definately a wasted post to try get access to the comps
 
I would have better odds with finding a flying pig in my back pocket than waking up to find EA has gone belly up
 
Lol sorry guys I posted this in the win a ps3 comp and found it odd that it didn't show can a mod moves this??
 
With IP's like Sims & Need for Speed, and all those EA Sports games like Fifa and Madden, I think they will be around for a looong time yet. They are a clever company. Ruthless too. So if one IP or developer doesn't do well EA won't hesitate to drop it in order to save costs. Only thing that can affect it now is some sort of global crisis and/or the discovery of a scandal (like Enron)
 
I like to imagine that now that EA is up for sale, Valve will step in and buy Electronic Arts. What a world that would be. A man can dream right?
