If someone had a gun to my head to choose one, I would probably take C&C then Spartan.

TerraNova... now a major TV series? hmm. no.

I preferred the original TerraNova.

Pretty sure it was my first 3D game. Not a day goes by where I do not ponder about the possibility of a remake.

Best game ever for me will be Deus Ex 1. I so loved that game. Also some worthwhile mentions will be Half Life 1 & 2, Age of Empires, Skyrim, Mass Effect, and Civilization 4.

Mmmm.... a bit of nostalgia and still sometimes play these (in no specific order)

1. Monkey Island 1, 2, 3 (after that it lost the plot)
2. Mean Streets
3. Another World
4. Commander Keen
5. Riven

I base my opinion purely on play time and enjoyment. These games kept me intrigued for days/weeks or even months (especially Riven). Sometimes still go back and play Monkey Island and Another World, most epic games of all time imo =D

For JRPGs, I'd have to go with Grandia II, I still go back and play that every other year. If only I still had my Dreamcast, that was by far the best version, but the PC version works well enough.

Please tell me you guys don't mean the original campaign, because it is almost universally regarded as one of the worst CRPG campaigns ever.

Shadows of Undrentide was okay, and Hordes of the Underdark was pretty good, but the original campaign? Nothing short of awful.
