rAge expo: more than just video games

So does anyone have any report back from today? I'm going tomorrow, kids and all :)
 
Way too many people in the dome today. Add the fail that is no functional card machines or ATMs and we ended up not buying anything today.

Was good to see the likes of Tomb Raider, Hitman, Halo4, DmC and God of War Ascension in action though.

Ended up driving to brightwater commons to drop some cash at AWX.

I am not surprised that had to limit the incoming numbers. The queues waiting to get in were ridiculously long.

We left earlier than planned simply because it was bordering on manic.

Difficult to understand why it was so much more hectic than previous times. It made things unpleasant. Next time I go, I'll consider going on the Friday maybe?

Only toilets on one side (by main entrance) seems to have been operational. The missus didn't complain about them, so guessing it was up to standard.
 
I won't comment on food since I went to Mac D's for lunch but bathrooms seemed ok despite the crowd, maybe females would have better luck for once.
I just needed an excuse to get past security to get back in so I said I needed to pick up a case I already paid for and pushed through.
 
The place was seriously packed today, borderline over packed. Luckily we got their early and left when the chaos started. The queue to get in was insane, lucky I didn't have to stand in it else I would have left.
 
Would be interesting to here from rAge organisers and their comments on the masses and organisation. The insane numbers was the reason I left early.
 
Was good to see that the cosplayers got some main stage time and that the guys with the board games had a nice big demo area. Also, the flea market area was also pretty cool, tons of graphic novels and figurines. They must expand on this.
