I'm thinking of selling my gaming PC at the moment before it becomes too outdated, thing is though I don't really know for how much I should sell it, It's specs are as follows:
i5 750 2.66 GHz Quad CPU
8 GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM
GTX 560 Ti OC 1GB GPU
500GB Seagate Barracuda HDD
500 watt coolermaster PSU
Cooler Master elite 335 Case(I think Im not too sure about that number, also it looks like crap, cause I live right next to the ocean and the front grill's almost rusted over, the rest of the PC is in excellent condition though)
LG lightscribe DVD writer

well that's pretty much my tower's specs, I'm planning on selling my screen and a basic Genius mouse and keyboard aswell with the tower.
The screen is a pview(very unkown brand I know) 19" 1680x1050 and well the keyboard and mouse are pretty basic. So yeah please let me know what you think.

I would say if it is 7-18 months old. Has a reasonably tidy looking case. A current copy of windows and still runs most games on medium to high settings you can ask for two thirds of what you payed for it new. If its between 18-30 months old or the case looks ratty or it can't run current games without overheating or crashing ask for R2000-R3000.
Hope it helps!

*edit*
Personally I think the case is the biggest drawback so why don't you get a cheap case and build your rig in that case you might be able to get R600-R700 more if you do that :P

Just a quick q, I have the same case and a 500W psu. The psu that I have came with the case, bought from a shop in Claremont (Cape Town), just wondering if you have the same psu as I want to upgrade my gpu but am unsure if it can handle anything further then my current 5770

Outdated...
The next Gen consoles haven't even arrived yet, and even if they arrive they would be like current gen PC's equivalent to your 560GTX ti.
If a game doesn't run well on your PC, the fault is with the game. The Skyrim ENB series is already using all the latest shader, anti aliasing and lighting tech.

The only reason one would need to upgrade is to hit the 60fps mark. And maybe too to sell your old components before something cheaper comes along that does exactly the same thing...

If you really want to get a competitive price, then go to a site like takealot and see what those components would cost new (if you can), then you know what is the max you could ask. No point selling your pc for more than what a brand spanking new one would cost with the same parts...

Just a suggestion.
