Dishonored Hands-On Impression - Eurogamer 2012

Oh she was talking about me? I thought she was referring to someone else since she wrote OmegaPhoenix which isn't me.
She should really get peoples names right if she plans on insulting them.
Literally loooooooled! Epic one there Omega :)

Totally relevant!

Read that as Trolly Relevant. :D

Indeed. So Dishonored. I'll be picking it up after my math exam as I think I won't be able to pull myself away. I am DAMN excited for it though

Can't afford it at the moment, so going to loaf at a friends house and play it on Xbox/PS3 then decide if I want it or not.

This game really looks good, lets hope arkane learnt from previous mistakes made in dark messiah. Thinking of that, the combat system should be great.

Most reviews point to just that, that Arcane learnt from Dark Messiah and have finally made a Fist Person Sword & Sorcery game that is awesome.

Replayed Dark Messiah not so long time ago it was a really good game. Went to recheck the reviews too, only after I've finished it.

Most of the critic, bad scores was because of it's performance (new graphics cards were unaffordable by the masses) and technical difficulties and the fact that it completely left out LAN and barely anyone ever got the experience the multiplayer because it was one of the first adopters of Steam when Steam still sucked.

It was way ahead of it's time, and that counted against it. Also was released around the same time as oblivion and due to it's modding capabilities remained in people's mind a long time.

I remember playing it on Xbox and must admit the bugs and extremely linear gameplay ruined it for me. But it was ahead of its time like you said, seems like Dishonored is the logical next step.

Has anyone managed to play it?

Yeah played about 3 or 4 hours last night. Managed to do the first escape mission and then the first actual mission. Loving it. I spent hours just lurking around experimenting even better than my hands on time. Haven't managed to Ghost a level yet but I am trying to not just kill everything I come across.

I could not pull myself away from this game last night. Played about 6 hours straight, and that was just the first mission. Great unique art style, excellent gameplay, good voice acting. This feels a lot like Thief, that kept me up countless hours when I was still in school.

[Spoilers:] Did you Brand Cambell or just kill him? [/Spoilers]
