Does someone have some old DDR1 ram to spare in the Pretoria area.

We have an old PC here at work that we can't replace and we need to increase it's ram to around 4-8GB's because it's kinda slow.

from what I know DDR1 ram biggest module size is 1gb, so if you wanting 4 - 8 gigs you going to need a very good motherboard for its age?
Matrix sells it, and should have stock

I'm not sure where to check the mother board on XP without opening the case.

In Cape Town, so it won't help much, but see if one of the other branches in Pretoria have stock maybe?

A program called Belarc will tell you the name of the motherboard.
