Battlefield 3 PC discussion thread MK II

Bwahahaha Rafi, Ai my bru, kyk hier, dis wanneer jy weet jy moet retire :P

@Monkey: You know dude, it's mostly the Russians that irritate the living crap out of me, but I was thinking... The reason there's so many noobs in Dota 2 now is because there's hundreds of thousands of new players joining the dota community. Dota 1 was big, but Dota 2 is just immense..

So I guess you kinda have to deal with it... I will, however, still rage at the idiots that come into the game as new players and start telling you how it is. For instance, the other day, a guy picks Crystal Maiden and I took Sven. He tells me to buy wards and a courier because "Bro, you're support. Sven is hard support".

TBH and IMO HC is for campers........

Playing with mates is where the teamwork comes in

'camping' is fround upon in games like CoD sure because there are no real hiding spots but the way the maps are designed in the BF games - its actually condusive to camping. I mean the recon class has a motion sensor to warn you of enemies creeping up on your campsite and any good squad will have a recon hiding somewhere communicating enemy positions to his mates below.

It is lame when everyone camps though.

I really do not get this 'camping' thing? How else do you defend an objective? Run around in the middle? No! You find a good spot and wait for the attackers to come and blow the thing up or capture the point.

When attacking you cannot really 'camp', ie you wont get the objective taken out captured if you sit in one spot, but for defense the only way to defend is to stick close to the target and deny the enemy that target.

My buddies keep telling me to get into Dota... But I'm not sure:rolleyes:

Anyway, I'm not overly excited for Aftermath"whistling:

I agree to disagree, Still hate camping and camping does nothing to play the objectives in this game.....

Problem is camping when you are attacking in rush or not making an effort to capture flags in conquest.

Camping is a legit strategy in SDM and TDM. since it hard to find enemies and they just come to you if they get killed by the same person in the same spot over and over.

I agree that when attacking you should not be stationary, but in defense you should be more static.

I actually decided not to play BF3 anymore. Been having hitreg and rubber banding the whole weekend that just ruins the experience for me.

It depends on the situation no use camping if you have 1 from 5 flags or when the whole team is swarming towards you, flanking is where it is at in BF3.

If you camp you might take out 3 in a sqd if there is team play and you are lucky the 4th will get you

You should see the lag in MWO,you can shoot a light mech with tons of lasers to the point where it's armor lights up like a Christmas tree but only when your sensors are done picking up it's ID do you see how little damage you did.

Sometimes I feel that if Bf3 were a person, I'd shoot it in the face for all the random bs that's happened to me since I started playing this game.

'Til today... My brother still sort makes fun of me for playing Bf3 so much. And he should, I mean ... I'm a noob, and apparently a real sucker for punishment. I don't learn from my mistakes, and I continue on with the same gameplay style that gets me killed more often than not.

A run and gunner I see? :P chances are you're to aggresive
Which classes do you use?

Does anyone here know what will the aftermath dlc include?

Only a crossbow as far as i know.

I really was expecting new maps destroyed by nuclear warfare. Or a gamemode where you fight to control power reactors and then eventually get your hands on nuclear technology and the map ends in a big boom of radioactive mushroom clouds...
