I started watching my recently purchased Martian Successor Nadesico DVDs this week 
Such nostalgic bliss ^_^
I'm now waiting for my Kaichou wa Maid-sama DVDs to arrive - I think that will most probably be my final purchase for the year - but it's a pity, because Rightstuf is running some epic specials at the moment. I think I will save up for next year Thanksgiving though

I'm planning to buy a TV just to watch anime on,what do you need to connect a plasma TV to a PC and still have high quality?

HDMI cable + A GPU with a HDMI output. Trust me, it's the easiest thing to do, I just output my PC to my TV and watch all my anime like that.
If you have mini HDMI on your GPU just get a Adaptor. They about R100 at Space or Ellies.

I'm currently going through the joys of trying to find info on all the series releasing in January 
Vividred Operation and Da Capo III have caught my eye so far, along with the 2nd season of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai - I still need to watch the first season of the show though.
