Have watched my mates playing it, and it looks like a lot of fun. I understand I have to download it directly from the site. Is there a way to practise so I don't look like such a noob when I join?

@Bromster The original DotA (Warcraft map) has an AI version, the game's are VERY close to each other (obviously) so you could do that?
