Best Strategy (Turn-based / Real-time) game of 2012

2012 is rapidly drawing to a close and here at MyGaming we are reflecting on the best games of the past year. It doesn’t really matter what the MyGaming crew says though – we want to know what the community thinks!

We have begun the voting for the best games of the year in various categories, as well as the best game overall for 2012.

Please lend your opinion to the community vote by participating in the poll attached to this thread.

Total War: Shogun 2 – Fall of the Samurai. That is just erm sick. I'd vote for just Total War: Shogun 2 minus the reenactment of the last samurai...

XCOM - Enemy Unknown - no doubt I would have changed a few things to make it closer to the original. But it was still an epic game. Busy playing Classic - Ironman atm. And getting my ass handed to me!

Company of Heroes is going to be sooooo epic. I can remember the 24 hour lan sessions we had with the first game.

Ah yes the lan sessions
That game was just great! I played through the campaign like 3 times and loved the defend this town from the germans etc. Missions so awesome
