Murph... Before you reinstall....
It sounds like a driver has crashed... So if you can boot in safemode. Run msconfig and edit boot.ini to add the /NOGUIBOOT. This disables the logo screen so you can see the names of the drivers scrolling past as they are loaded in. The last driver in the list before you get the blue screen is the faulty one. Once you get the name download it and replace it. Don't know if it'll work.
