Disturbing scenes in games

The most disturbing Scene that always gets me is at the end of a any MP game when the words ' Your Team Lost " appears on the screen.

Hahahaha what makes matters worse is your group of friends behind you tossing food at you :p

The first time I played F.E.A.R, I got to the top of a ladder, turned around to go down, and there she was. *shiver*

That moment is still etched into my retinas.

Playing Fallout 3... Seeing someone being decapitated, dismembered and/or severed by a projectile going into the attacker's body.
(Truth be told... Sometimes my curiosity kicked in, and I did some weird shit to the corpses.)

Some NPC deaths were so bad, I was actually grossed out. Same story when I played the 1st Dead Space. Some explicit violence. I've grown more accustomed to it, but it still get to me at times.

F.E.A.R. never managed to scare the living crap outta me, but there were times when I got a jump scare or two.
I love F.E.A.R. ... Need to play F.E.3.R still.

And then there was a game (can't remember name) that was filled with HR Geiger style textures - THAT was disturbing

Is the game you're talking about Darkseed? Very dark game.

For me the most disturbing scene is in Walking Dead Ep. 3 where you have to chop the guy who got caught in a bear traps leg off. And you have to click on the the leg for each swing of the axe. Freaked me out big time.

SPOILERS FOR SPEC OPS THE LINE

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Spec Ops: The Line. (Spoilers incoming...now) The white phosphorous scene was quite disturbing, actually now that I think about it, most of the game was disturbing. It maybe was a "horror type" of disturbance such as FEAR, but it certainty wasn't a pleasant game to play. Its narrative was genius, and it's a game that I recommend people play because it makes you think, but it's definitely not a game I will play again in a while.

Even the loading screen "tips" were troubling, with quotes like "To kill for yourself is murder. To kill for your government is heroic. To kill for entertainment is harmless", after killing countless people, both armed and unarmed, "You're still a good person" and "Do you feel like a hero yet?"

Completely forgot to mention it. Most of it was disturbing and brilliant at the same time. I agree I won't replay it in the near future.

Not sure if disturbed is the word, but MGS2 was probably the first game that made me feel so uneasy.

+1 for Manhunt. The plastic-bag-over-the-head jobby... Was fun at the time until you think about it after. "whistling:

I had a really good time with manhunt, there is just something so laughable about being chased by a man with a pig head holding a chainsaw
