Guild Wars 2

Thanks, I joined there.

I've got a bit of a dilemma, though. I can't really find a class I like. The game seems to be the next step in the evolution of MMOs, but I don't particularly like any of the classes. :(

I'm going to try and stick with a Hunter for now, but it seems a bit too much like the Hunter from WoW. Anyone got any recommendations for a class that is fun to play, easy to solo with while not being terrible in PvP?

Eeeh dude believe me, all the classes are fun to play if you just give them a chance. I would recommend engineer for the needs you listed above. Engineers are super fun, easy soloing (a bit squishy though) and very good in pvp once you grasp the basics of how the abilities work and when to use them etc.

Thanks, I think I'm going to stick to my Charr engineer then and see how it goes until about level 15 or so. Hunter seems okay, but it's not a class I envision using as my main.

Well I find most classes are pretty easy to solo with, apart from the thief and the elementalist. Although it is possible to solo with them it takes a bit of added effort. The warrior and hunter is pretty easy to solo with and they are quite strong in pvp as well. The mesmer is a bit tricky to solo with, but it's quite excellent in pvp and really fun to play.

Ele's a quite tricky to solo when you start off, once you get to level 40+ it's a little easier, with a whole skill set mostly dedicated to healing it makes it a lot easier too.

Tricky part is trading off Condition damage for Power, since most of your attacks all do condition damage. Burn, Bleed, Chill and Blindness.

Mine is also full rare set with runes of the traveler and I eat MF food.Yeah we are hoping that Anet will drop MF completely or give us a way to see how much we have.

You have to get the last chest of the JP's to get the achievement for them. Most of them are easy some are really hard if your not great at jumping,

Didnt mean the actual JP chieves per JP

For the monthlies it says now "JP Discovered"

So just go in it? not at home so cant test :/

After three days of playing I have finally found the class I want. Thief!

It's the one class I thought I'd be least interested in, but wow, it's fun.

I'm having some ping issues this morning which I'm pretty sure is problems on their side, as all my pingtests (even international) come out fine.

Anyway, meet Oromund, my level 23 Thief. I've absolutely fallen in love with this class. I don't know why, but it's just so much fun playing it. It's definitely a lot more challenging as you can't just stand there and soak up hits like other classes, you actually have to stay mobile to stay alive.
