Sleeping Dogs is worth the full price IMO. It's a surprisingly great game; best GTA style game not made by Rockstar actually. :)

I can recommend Deponia, got that on my laptop for the exact same purpose :D

still have to shop the sequel

and then of course you can't go wrong with any of the Broken Sword games
 
Deponia is a bit of a mixed bag. I tried it on my laptop, but after about 15 minutes of playing it would freeze and I'd have to forcefully end the process before I can play further. Think there's a memory leak or something.

luckily I've had no problems with mine. it's just bloody difficult

Thanks... Will perhaps try the demo sometime.
I've tried Monkey Island and Book of Unwritten tales so far, but it did not go well.

Nothing grabbed my attention. My attention is so focused on playing Starcraft that the rest is all lost to me. :o

So I guess I can shell out on the Collector's Edition! :D

Derponia is much harder than Monkey island. I am having problems with the Chaos on Deponia the lipt sync is way off and it has put me off the game.

Is Deponia any good? My girlfriend played a bit of it and thought it sucked, but I haven't tried it myself yet. I just bought the Indiegala deal though, so I guess I'll know soon enough. The trailer looked humorous.

it's funny and REALLY challenging. I'm enjoying it :)
 
Has anyone been able to buy anything off GreenManGaming in the past 3 days? Both my brother and I have made numerous attempts in purchasing DmC (both via Paypal and direct Mastercard transactions), but the purchase always fails. Consulting with the bank they can not find any trace of an attempt being made against the card at all.

Keep on getting the following errors :

When using the credit card directly :
We have been unable to complete your order, please contact your payment provider before trying again.

When using Paypal:
Your Payment Provider has not authorised your purchase. This may be because some banks (incorrectly) believe that Green Man Gaming is a gambling website. Please contact your bank to discuss your order. We are working with these banks to resolve this issue.

Looking at other threads it appears that GMG are adamant that the issue is not on their side.

I bought Chivalry last night without any issues.

I had the exact same problems when I tried to buy XCOM, used all 3 my cards and nothing worked, then I went home and payment went through on my cheque card on the first try, so I'm thinking the proxy or something here at work caused the payment block some how :wtf:
