Anyone in JHB looking for a good maid?

So we have a fantastic maid a few times a week, but we don't have enough work or money to employ her full time, or really for the 3 days we have her currently. We'd be fine with once or twice a week, and I thought I'd see if any of you need someone once or twice a week. She does a very good job and is friendly, hard working, honest and punctual. Looking for a win-win-win situation.
 
If I lived in JHB... I have a fiance living with me and her mom. Which is annoying. It's a big house, I need someone to clean the place out.
 
Our maid is very old and I won't be surprised if she retires in a year or two. Unfortunately I can't just let her go yet.
 
Ah well. Thanks anyway guys. Hopefully I can find someone. Feeling a little cash strapped, but I can't tell her to come less days unless she has somewhere else to work, it wouldn't be fair on her

We in Roodepoort and our maid resigned, so we are looking for a new one to come in once a week.

That should probably be fine hey. She's coming from town, but she comes to us in Strubens Valley, which is also in Roodepoort
 
Wow, is this a Roodepoort only thread?

I'm in Honeydew Ridge in Roodepoort. Crazy! Strubens Valley is just around the corner from me.

So there's a lot of us around there it seems. That's cool. I've also lived in Wilgeheuwel, and Honeydew (Where Lazer Park is now, used to be all smallholdings once upon a time)
 
Sorry for necroing the thread but matt, there isn't a chance that she is still looking to work once a week for someone?

I was at home the one day. And she came. And well I was busy playing bf3. She just looked at the screen. And you should have seen her face LOL. Well seeing as though the house wasn't THAT dirty except for a few dishes. She ended up playing BF3 for a few hours. :eek:

No problem. I think she's pretty much booked up at the moment, but she can usually find other people if needed. Should I ask her if she knows anyone who needs work?

Nah it's alright, thanks matt. I spoke to some people at work and should be able to get someone. :)
 
I just heard today that our maid thinks she has holiday tomorrow :( Not a happy camper. I hate ironing!!!
