Ill leave your guys Planetside 2 thread, shouldnt have actually made any comments at all really unless they where positive. I guess i didnt have my morning cuppa before i commented this morning.

O I know the feeling if it was not for isengard, cronus and weeman I would have given up in the first few min. It all depends where you are if you just deployed in a place where the other faction is trying to take it over your going to have a very bad day.

Haha dude, it's not that you badmouthed the game, the tutorial sucks and the game desperately needs a better one. The game throws you into the heat of battle with no explanation for any of the games mechanics and this turns off new players in a bad way.

I just took issue with the pay to win comment, which isn't true. :)

I can agree with that much. After a few weeks I'm still running a round with a "WTF am I doing?" expression on my face. For now, I just follow the crowd and shoot at whatever they're shooting at.

OMG it works who knew :p Lucky getting a new keyboard on Monday so keys won't get stuck.

roomys when you see us playing join us for some running around trying to take out places. We normally on one of the 3 ts servers/ wage, mweb, Contgaming. Or a group on steam chat.


P.S don't take the sniper you need a bit more experience playing the game to get the sniper class right.
 
I started playing this yesterday and i must admit not having gear does put you at a huge disadvantage so tonight im gonna sub up(its really not expensive) and hopefully get some decent gear... all in all really fun game

Gear is only unlockable using certs. Weapons can be purchased using station cash.

Ah k, you mean the XP boost? That would help for cert acquisition, though still time consuming.

I've been playing ps2 every day since the game left beta. The important cert unlocks require very few certs. The weapon unlocks are definitely more side grade unlocks. I play the heavy assault class and I'm still using the default gun you are given as it's the best all rounder.

I did buy some station cash, but only to spend it on some cosmetic things like different camo for my character and vehicle. I didn't spend any SC's on the weapons as I don't see the need. I just felt I wanted to give Sony some money for the game since I'm enjoying it so much.

As for there being no instructions for the game, there are lots of good youtube video guides on how to play the game and how things work. If you come and join the small group of us that play ps2 everyday on mumble (instructions to join have been posted previousely in this thread) we'll help explain the game to you while you play with us. We are playing TR on the Mallory server.

Had some major fun last night

We where at the crown holding of a attack and there is a spot where there are loads of campers lets just say 20 kills come from the campers hahaha :D Then we pushed them back to the next point just too let them push us back to the crown again and after that my graphics started glitching out.
