so who plays dota and what is your favorite HERO?

I've wanted to try but I know I'm gonna get screamed at for being a noob while I'm still learning. From what I've heard these DOTA players take their game quite seriously.

Need to jam it a bit with some buddies at a lan or something to work out some tactics and builds.

It's hard to go back to dota after playing HoN
On the HoN server there was 5000 users on at one time the other day.
Think about 50 000 are registered.

Only reason I still play Dota now and again is because of techies.
and because I'm capped...

But seriously gotten bored of it, plus a lot of the kids that play it are immature and pathetic. I am over it.

Over the past years I have been playing I have managed to wean myself off it a few times but always end up getting the bug again. I fear this might happen again.
