Guild Wars 2

Busy patching now and I'm really keen to check out some of those changes.

Edit: Looks like Southsun Cove shall now forever be abandoned with the removal of the rich ori node...

I dunno about this patch only being 1gb. I've downloaded 500mb of it so far and the patcher says I've only downloaded 5% of the total files.

It is 1GB, mine just finished. Don't believe the lies of the downloader, its very inaccurate.

The downloader calculates the percentage from the number of files, not size. Folks on Reddit clocked it at 1.3 Gb.

The downloader determines the % from the amount of items downloaded. Some items are extremely large while as others are about a 100 kb. So yeah I agree with Isen. It's very inaccurate.

Oh, I see. Well that's just silly then. They might as well not have a download bar at all because without knowing the size of the download the download bar is essentially useless.

Well I see they made spirit weapons now take damage. That makes an already meh build just totally useless, they should at least have made spirit weapons have an infinite summon duration to compensate.

This ruins any chance of me trying a SW build again...

I have to admit that Anet loves to nerf spells and never compensate for the loss the character experiences. They plan on nerfing aoe and, according to shadow, they want to nerf the dagger/dagger build on ele's. The ele's are already extremely underpowered and Anet thinks it's a good idea to mess them up further?

They keep talking about wanting to make more builds viable, but their actions suggest otherwise...
