Expect Assassin's Creed 4 within the next year

Exepct? LOL.

Anyway, bring it on! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'll buy any AC game as fast as Ubisoft can pump it out. Looking forward to finding out what the new time period is.

Exepct? Is that the new way of saying it?

They should make a futuristic Assassin with this...

Well uhm... it looks like this is also going to be milked to death  but looking forward to it :)

Didn't they say that AC3 was going to be the last installment? This is getting a bit too much, but I guess the greedy basterds at Ubisoft couldn't cut off such a successful franchise...

I read somewhere that the next theme has to do with pirates... So prolly 17th - 19th century for the latest...

I really, really hope so. I have been craving a (good) pirate game for as long as I can remember, but nobody seems to make one. The naval battles in AC3 were already a step in the right direction.

Well my understanding is that Slavery was banned in Canada about 20 years after Americas independence. I would have loved to see Connor continuing his fight for freedom through that and the underground Railroad that most likely would have started up around then.
To me it seems Plausible that he would have been a huge hidden part of that movement in both the lead up to Anti slavery and the formation of the railroad.

That's where I think the series should move to first

That would have been cool, but Ubisoft clearly stated that this will be a new AC with a new setting and a new protagonist. I think Connor's story will only continue in DLC and not disc-based releases.

One can dream

wow already, can't wait for it, but wish Ubisoft would take more time with each game. Not just churning them out every year like Call of Duty... But looking forward to the next one, especially if it has pirates!:D

They don't just churn them out every year dude. They have multiple studios working on different AC games simultaneously.

Each Call of Duty also has a 2 year development cycle, the perks of having more than one studio work on a franchise is more releases, more often.

That is true...

It's a good series.. Just started playing 3 and I like all of them so they can keep milking them as long as they like, given that they keep it up to current standard :D
