Guild Wars 2

Hahaha, a Jumping puzzle with our guild, I can only imagine it......

I like the Guild Bounties idea, but we will need to have a lot more people online at night to pull that off. Apparently there will be a time limit during which bounties will need to be hunted down across different regions, so it actually requires that teams be assigned to hunt down the bounties seperately at the same time.

I think our guild might be too small for most of these activities.

With level and party scaling it may work with smaller guilds too.

Guild Bounty – Your guild is tasked with tracking down and capturing various targets for the Orders. These people are wanted for a variety of reasons and have all sorts of tricks up their sleeves to resist arrest!
Guild Trek – Think you know Tyria? Well the Tyrian Explorer’s Society has a challenge for you! Find the list of locations before time runs out.
Guild Challenge – These challenges leverage our existing event system but are specifically geared to require multi-group, coordinated play to succeed. So gather your guild and see if you’re up to the challenge!
Guild Rush – Test your skills with a mad dash over harrowing terrain, traps, and other hidden dangers. Just remember, there’s safety in numbers!
Guild Puzzle – It’s a puzzle and a jumping challenge all in one! This mission type requires multi-group coordination as well as individual jumping skills to get to the treasure at the end.

This sounds like some of the Zaishen Bounty, Combat, Missions and so forth from GW1

Meh, I think I'm going to join in on whatever the Guild's up to tonight (if there is something at that), level 12 or not:D

Our guild is plenty big enough to take on most of these things, the problem's a little more related to people not logging in. We have 51 members, I haven't seen more than 9 on at a time recently.

But maybe the new content will prompt a few to log in a bit more often again - I'm longing for the good old days where we had 20-odd people clogging up the chat :)

Slight warning - I might be a little laggy tonight - WebAfrica wants to test my account, so I'll be on my Afrihost backup from about 7:30 onwards.

Hahahaha Dee, you are always welcome, maybe after a dungeon run we can drag you into your first jumping puzzle :P

We can be evil and take him to that monster in Metrica (although if I never see that puzzle again I'll be happy), and there's also that cave in Queensdale with the 3 chests (and the spiders :p ) in it - Dee might be able to score something useful from that.

What have I gotten myself into? :p

And have one more person that never logs into the game anymore. :p

Bwahahaha no lets start him off on an easy one, lev 12 he wont have the stuff needed for that hectic one in metrica

Was thinking more of the WvW one first, just to show him how HUGE they get. :D The Broken Wall Blitz is a easy starter or, the Chaos Crystal Cavern is also a easy one. Then we can get him to do an Asuran one Hexfoundry Unhinged, that is a nightmare with 2 chests, 2 champions and 3 switches to activate to get to the final chest.

Easiest one in GW2's history. Under New Management

You got them to convince you to join STI. They might not have mentioned this to you beforehand, but apparently I'm an incredibly evil guild leader.

We can start him off on some of the easy low-level ones I reckon. The Beetlegrub caves in Queensdale is easy and quick, it is a level 15+, but with a bunch of us there it should be pretty safe.

3 chests, and if Dee does drop, the fall probably won't kill him, although the spiders will unless we all drop down to rescue him :p

I don't really know where any of the other low level puzzles are.

Ah balls.

Lads, we have a problem.

Each guild mission type becomes available through an upgrade that is researched in the guild tech tree. The first one is Guild Bounties, which does require Art of War level 5.

We're gonna have to hustle up some influence fast.

How much do we need?

Well .. we're on Art of War 3 at the moment, so that means two more upgrades, which will take more than a week, unless we speed it up. The final upgrade is 10k, if I remember correctly.

I'm going to log in now to check ... give me 5 minutes ... I have to be sneaky because I'm at work

{EDIT}

I didn't remember correctly - the Level IV upgrade is 10k -> we're on 10,3k right now. No idea what the final upgrade will be, but probably 15 - 20k somewhere.
